It's been on the news agenda for a few years, but suddenly showing your green credentials is something to be proud of.
Being called a "treehugger" for being an environmental evangelist is no longer an insult, in fact its a compliment (see this website treehuggermums for more information on being a "green" mum).
Indeed, things have changed so much that owning a Toyota (well a Toyota Prius) is sexy and riding a bike means that you are both green and daring and not just careful with your money. Being "green" now has respect and that's because you are doing something much, much bigger and more laudable - you are playing your part in saving the planet.
Not wanting to miss out on this new found favour for all things "green", Caterer and its website CatererSearch.com, is devoting the month of October to being green.
For competitions, information, help and advice on how to make your hospitality business greener, news and much more on the environment then visit the "green zone".
