Which top hospitality executive recently gained a stay of execution after Caterer published details of his impending departure? We hear the story gave the individual in question some much-needed breathing space and leverage during his payoff negotiations and may have earned him an extra 100 grand into the bargain. Where is the minister for tourism ?
I recently learned that our tourism minister Shaun Woodward has been in the job now for six months and in that time he hasn't issued one single press release on tourism. Is this a case of a minister without a department or an industry without a minister? The phrase about as much use as a chocolate fireguard springs to mind!
