Cotswold House update

Ian Taylor, proprietor of Cotswold House in Chipping Campden, contacted me this morning to clarify the rumour that Von Essen are interested in his award -winning property.

"It's is absolutely not for sale at the moment," he added. "And if it was I would put it on the market first."

He did add that Cotswold House's sister property in Chipping Campden, the Noel Arms, might well come back onto the market pending a planning permission decision.

I was interested to note that within a month of denyiny that the Cotswold House Hotel was going to be on the market in the near future, owner Ian Taylor announced that the hotel is now on the market with Knight Frank for a reported £12 Million. Now I dont know the hotel but at £413,000 per room it must be pretty spercial! Or was it a Caterer misprint?
I tried to view the hotel's website but it was so slow to download that I gave up after 5 minutes or so.
